TASTE • TOAST • TALK

When Village Social Kitchen + Bar opened in July of 2010 in the heart of Mount Kisco, Joe Bueti had a clear vision for his home away from home - a perfect union of design, community, and lifestyle, all while serving up great food, drink, music, and conversation. Village Social’s executive Chef Mogan Anthony uses his international experiences to push the envelope of traditional American fare; giving new twists to old favorites. His seasonal menus are always original and exciting and the ingredients in his dishes come from hand picked farms and distributers both local and farther afield, insuring that he only gets the very best ingredients.

Whether you want to come and enjoy a drink (and or food) at the bar, date night, or a dinner with family and friends, all ages are welcome seven days a week. We invite and welcome you to enjoy a truly wonderful dining and drinking experience that will keep you coming back for more.

Chef Mogan Anthony

Chef Mogan Anthony’s talent and passion for food can be traced back to his roots. Born and raised in Malaysia and having grown up in a Southern Indian family, he was mesmerized by the flavors and uses of the indigenous herbs and spices of his ancestors.

After training in Singapore for Food and Hospitality, he came to America where he learned alongside some of the best chefs in the industry - Chef Nobu, Chefs Brian Lewis and Jeremy McMillan at the Bedford Post, and Jean-Georges and his son Cedric Vongerichten. In 2010 as the Chef de Cuisine at Barcelona Restaurant Group he learned to embrace and incorporate Mediterranean cuisine into his own dishes.

Chef Mogan joined the Village Social Family in 2011 as the Executive Chef. His culinary range spans the globe as he masterfully infuses his talent, culture, and experiences to execute award winning dishes. His tireless pursuit of fresh ingredients, cooking styles and innovative cuisine is translated into Village Social’s New American fare.
